Buhler Barth has developed the cocoa powder stabilizing system CPC for achieving highly effective stabilization. With its fluid-bed system, it ensures optimal energy transfer. The energy released during crystal conversion in cocoa butter is dissipated within the required time at the ideal rate. An optimal cooling air recycling system ensures that the air is filtered before being discharged from the fluid-bed stabilizer and that it is returned to the stabilizer after being conditioned in a heat exchanger. Cocoa powder of top quality thanks to optimal temperature control.
The extremely efficient fluid-bed crystallizer CPC ensures optimal temperature control of the cocoa butter components in the cocoa powder. This guarantees best possible stabilization and intensely bright cocoa powder colors.

Air-recycling cooling for best yields.
The filter system of the cooling air system is integrated in the fluid-bed crystallizer. Cocoa powder reaching the filters is immediately returned to the product chamber. This allows product losses to be prevented – for achieving maximum cocoa powder yields.

Operation of the cocoa powder stabilizing system CPC is based on an effective air-recycling principle where the cooling air is filtered and then returned to the circuit.
