Malt Grist Mill Maltomat™ 2 DBZG.

The malt grist mill MaltomatTM 2 DBZG is a further development of the MaltomatTM DBZC. This special development of Buhler is mainly suitable for use in breweries with high milling capacities for the grinding of malt and unmalted grains. The effective six-roller concept and an array of additional functions emphasize Buhler's commitment to offering a state-of-the-art machine to meet special capacity requirements. Economy through a ground-breaking grinding principle.
  • The malt grist mill MaltomatTM 2 is versatile: It is suitable for use with all malt varieties as well as unmalted grain.
  • The proven "grinding-grinding-sifting-grinding" principle results in a high husk volume and thus enables faster lautering. Endosperm and husks are ideally separated.
  • The roll transmission in the malt grist mill MaltomatTM 2 DBZG is completely lubricant-free. This contributes to attaining maximum product purity.

Modular design with optional components.

  • Upon request, the feeder of the MaltomatTM 2 DBZG can be equipped with a magnet. This special element retains metal and thus prevents contamination of the product and damage to the rolls.
  • The multi-gap version is the right choice for use with a number of products. It enables fully automatic operation – lowering the attendance requirements of the machine.
  • An optional distribution screw conveyor in the feeder can be especially practical in difficult feeding situations. It provides a uniform distribution of the product to be ground over the entire length of the rolls – resulting in optimized utilization of the machine's capacity and uniform roll wear.
  • An add-on system for monitoring the temperature of the bearings contributes additionally toward achieving maximum production reliability.

Easy operation with innovative details.

  • The separation of the main motor from the feed roll drive has been proven effective. It allows feeding to be easily regulated.
  • The adjustment of all machine functions is carried out with stored program control (SPC) via Profibus connector – making operation significantly easier for the user.
