Malt Grist Mill Unicompact DBZH.

Buhler's malt grist mill Unicompact DBZH is employed primarily in breweries for the grinding of brewing malt and unmalted grain. The machine's outstanding attributes include high grinding capacities, excellent reliability of operation and the delivery of consistently high-quality finished products. Reproducible grinding quality at high capacity.
  • With the integrated sampler, the product can be checked continuously during the on-going process.
  • Deviations can be corrected immediately, resulting in a finished product of consistent quality.
  • With throughputs of up to 15 t/h for malt and 7 t/h for barley and broken rice, the malt grist mill is distinguished by its extremely high processing capacity.
  • An optional magnet built into the guiding plate retains metal, helping to prevent contamination of the product and damage to the rolls.

High operating reliabilty for better economy.

  • The pressure shock-resistant housing and mechanically interlocked doors ensure plant and personnel safety.
  • A safeguard against roll collision prevents the rolls from being damaged.
  • The low specific roll loading, the result of high RPM, reduces wear, therefore increasing the economic efficiency of the malt grist mill.
  • The optional distribution screw conveyor in the inlet provides for uniform distribution of the product and detaches lumps, thus ensuring optimum material feed.

Versatile and flexible

  • The malt grist mill Unicompact excels through its versatility: In addition to its main application in malt grinding, the mill is also suitable for grinding corn (maize), broken rice and grain.
  • Buhler offers two versions of the DBZH, equipped with either one or two pairs of rolls. This allows the mill to be flexibly adapted to meet the customer's needs and/or product specifications.
