Sampler MZEA/MZEF and Sample Collector MZEP/MZER.

Representative sampling is significant in grain processing and related fields, whether for maintaining consistent product quality or for creating retention samples. Buhler's auto-matic samplers MZEA and MZEF, together with the sample collectors MZEP and MZER, offer an ideal system for the sampling of bulk materials. The sampler MZEA is used for installation in gravity spouts, while the sampler MZEP is used in pneumatic pressure conveyor lines. These samplers are optimally matched to the sample collector MZEP with its five-liter sample container and the sample collector MZER, which, with a total of 27 three-liter containers, enables autonomous collection of samples over a longer period of time. RFID identification of the sample containers in order to optimize data consistency is also available upon request. Operation without personnel – reliable and easy.
Sampling interval and sampling duration can be set quickly and easily on the controller and, therefore, be precisely adapted to meet the needs of the customer. Automatic sam-pling is more precise and more dependable than samples taken by hand, thus making it possible to attain a representative mean of the material processed.

Trouble-free operation via intelligent control.
Because the sample collector is optimally integrated into the control program of the sampler, the entire process is monitored: High levels in the containers are automatically identified and indicated in good time. The sample collector MZER is available for auto-matic sample collection over a longer period of time. As soon as one sample container is full, it automatically puts the next empty container to use.

Samples separated by shift.
The sample collector MZER is also capable of handling a variety of production processes in different shifts. If necessary, its control program can also separate the samples taken during individual shifts.

Unique data consistency via state-of-the-art technology.
Automatic sampling offers optimized traceability. Optionally equipping the sample con-tainers with RFID technology takes the idea of data consistency one step further: The chip located in each of the containers allows all relevant process information to be saved. This also makes the data available directly to all subsequent systems.

High flexibility through custom-tailored systems.
The modular design of the sampling system allows Buhler to adapt the system ideally to meet the customer's needs and thus offer customized solutions for the widest range of requirements.
