SORTEX M Optical Sorter.

The SORTEX M is a high standard optical sorting machine manufactured by Buhler in China. It is used to separate input product into two separate output streams on the basis of color properties. Its main fields of application are rice, wheat, lentils, seeds and spices, dehydrated vegetables and plastics.

Maximum sorting efficiency thanks to high resolution cameras.
High resolution monochromatic visible cameras ensure maximum sorting efficiency as they detect even small and subtle colour variations as well as spot defects. Thus, a very efficient removal of unwanted material from the product stream is possible.

Maximum profitability thanks to excellent performance.

  • The long-life, high-resolution and high-speed serviceable ejectors are specifically designed to offer high-speed production and accuracy with reduced wear.
  • Reliable and uniform feed and illumination using fluorescent lighting result in the most accurate separation.
  • The optional split chute system further enhances the product footprint for a given capacity.

Highly flexible thanks to customizable, optional modules.

  • The SORTEX M offers an optimised performance joined with high flexibility according to customers’ needs: available in up to three modules allows for multiple chute options.
  • The optional chute heating system ensures a highly reliable quality processing of high-humidity products. It further enables sorting directly after milling.

Ease of use ensures consistent performance.
The multi-language touch screen allows fast product changeovers. The easy usage of SORTEX M is remarkable: the sorting machine includes pre-stored and user defined modes. This enables an excellent and consistent performance.

Cost efficiency thanks to extended service intervals.
The extended service interval of long life ejectors and fluorescent tubes reduce costs of ownership substantially.
