Claude Inauen (age 30), Junior Project Manager Engineering at company headquarters in Uzwil, Switzerland
“Buhler is an interesting employer that offers many opportunities for career development. Its international business activities interest me most of all”, says Claude Inauen. Concurrently with his machine draftsman apprenticeship, the 30 year-old also closed with Professional Bacheloureate (BMS). Following this, he completed his technical college training for production technology, and came to Buhler as a developer. For four years, Claude Inauen worked as R&D Project Manager in the micro-metering department. During this period he was instrumental in the technology transfer to China and also spent three months working in the US.
After four years in development, the 30 year-old was ready for a change. He is currently participating in a multi-year training program for Engineering Project Managers in the Grain Processing division, which in addition to internal training programs also includes a postgraduate course as well as the Swiss School of Milling. Due to his interest in commerce, Mr. Inauen envisions his future career path taking him abroad to work in sales. He sees a great potential in the future of the medium markets and is convinced that Buhler can also secure a position of leadership there.
