“I immediately noticed how huge and internationally recognized Buhler is”, recalls the CommerciaI Assistant. Upon completing her internship at Buhler Mexico, she then went on to earn her degree. She presently works full-time at Buhler. To her, this was the best token of recognition for her accomplishments.

“The work environment at Buhler Mexico is fantastic!” Martha Rodriguez is no less enthusiastic about her job: “My work corresponds exactly with what I studied for, which is why I enjoy it so much!” She is an avid tennis player, enjoys going to the movies and also participates in the early-morning German classes offered by the company. After all, she has made a firm decision that by 2011, she will be fluent in German.

What she likes most about her current job is her contacts to people outside of Mexico. The fact that this allows her to use her English-speaking skills while also expanding her industry knowledge gives her additional motivation. The working conditions at Buhler are very good and she values the fact that she has a stable job, which is not always a given, especially in the middle of an economic crisis. A highlight of her time with Buhler to date was her assistance in organizing the 2009 Technical Sales Conference, held in Mexico. In addition to gaining a lot of knowledge as an attendee, the event also gave her an opportunity to meet other Buhler employees from around the world.
