The Thermal Processes business unit supplies continuous systems and equipment for thermal treatment of different polymers, including the processes of crystallization, heating, cooling, drying, and polycondensation.
These systems are used for both commodity and specialty polymers such as PET, PA, PC, POM, SAP, bio-polymers, etc. Moreover, Buhler supplies systems for recycling post-consumer PET into material for direct food contact applications. All systems can process materials in the form of flakes or granules of different sizes.
