Achim Klotz

After completing his mechanical engineering studies at the University of Engineering in Darmstadt, he continued his education in marketing and business administration at a renowned business school. He then worked with the Schenk company in Darmstadt, switching in 1989 to Balzers AG, an international company active in the coatings industry. There he was first in charge of sales, joining the corporate management team later on. Achim Klotz has headed the Die Casting division from 1998. He was concurrently in charge of Buhler North America from 2001 to 2005. He has been in charge of the new established Advanced Materials division since 2009.
