Buhler has been present with its own affiliate in China since 1982, where it employs some 1500 persons. The headquarters of Buhler China are located in Wuxi, 120 kilometers east of Shanghai in the Province of Jiangsu. That is also where Buhler’s second-largest factory in the world is located.
Buhler China offers the entire range of Buhler products and services and operates manufacturing facilities in Wuxi, Changzhou, Shenzhen, and Xian. Wuxi has now become an important development center for the Buhler Group. In September 2009, Buhler China opened a Chocolate Center in Wuxi, which organizes customer and personnel training courses and which also allows laboratory tests to be conducted.
