Buhler has been operating in Japan since 1974. The affiliate is located in Yokohama and employs 65 persons. Buhler Japan offers the entire range of products and service of the Buhler Group.
The affiliate operates a Customer Service Center in Kyusyu as well as various local training centers. In 2007, Buhler Japan together with Japan Steel Works (JSW) set up a joint venture for the manufacture, marketing, and maintenance of cold-chamber die casting machines. In the same year, Buhler Japan opened the “Regional Application Development & Education Center” (RADEC). The RADEC offers Buhler customers in the regions of Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea the opportunity to conduct tests and to develop applications on a local basis under the supervision of coaches and in a professional environment.
