Chain Conveyor RFKG.

Bulk storage and transfer facilities (elevators, silos) and large-scale processing plants have higher-than-usual requirements when it comes to materials handling. With its chain conveyor RFKG, Buhler offers a high-capacity distribution and discharge conveyor capable of handling up to 1200 metric tons of material across distances of up to 150 meters. The chain conveyor RFKG is equally suited to moving floury & mealy as well as fine- and coarse-grained materials. In addition to horizontal conveying, its design also allows upwardly inclined materials handling.

Extensive safety features for high operating safety.

  • As a special safety precaution, all moving machine components are covered by safety guards. This rules out the risk of personal injuries. 
  • A zero-speed detector installed on the return shaft stops the conveyor in the event of chain standstills – providing effective and immediate safety.

Low maintenance thanks to rugged design.

  • In developing this chain conveyor, special attention was paid to a rugged design. The reduced number of wear parts substantially cuts also the maintenance costs. 
  • The core elements of the chain conveyor RFKG are its drop-forged and hardened chain links. They offer high tensile strength and wear resistance. 
  • The machine’s features also include a sprocket wheel made of bolted segments; in addition, also the chain links are connected by bolts. This design simplifies and speeds up component changes.

Flexibility through modular design.

  • In addition to versions provided with a single or multiple layer of standard powder coating, also a galvanized design is available. This variability makes the chain conveyor RFKG suitable for handling a wide variety of materials in indoor as well as outdoor applications. 
  • Various anti-wear versions of metal or plastic enhance the flexibility of application.
