Their interaction while automatically and continuously measuring and controlling the moisture of grain in milling plants guarantees efficient, uniform grinding and exact flour moisture content.

The application field of the moisture control unit MYFC and water proportioning unit MOZF extends beyond grain milling to include breweries – for consistent malt moisture and targeted dampening of the malt for gentle grinding which spares husks and germs.

The moisture control unit MYFC continuously determines the input moisture of the grain as well as the flow rate using the integrated flow controller. Based on this data, the controller computes the exact volume of water needed for obtaining the required final moisture content.

The water proportioning unit MOZF accurately meters the calculated volume of dampening water – e.g. for the trirotor dampener MOZL.
