This course will teach you how to interpret the functions and parameters provided by the die-casting machine to better understand and control the die-casting process.

This includes:

  • Studying the locking unit and the injection unit of the machine
  • Interpretation and explanation of shot profile
  • Examining special machine components used to monitor and control machine functions
  • Shot velocity, position, and pressure profiles, examples of cast parts, injection unit power curves and machine performance capabilities are examples from data that we analyze in the course.

By the end of the course you will be able to better understand the functions of the machine relevant to the die-casting process. This can help you to reduce cycle time and scrap.

This course requires a basic knowledge of our die-casting machines and how to operate them.
