Irene Mark-Eisenring graduated in Business Administration from the University of Applied Sciences in St. Gallen, Switzerland. She expanded her studies with additional diplomas in HR strategy and further fields like personnel management, profiling, psychology, project management as well as leadership from institutes such as Cornell University and IMD.
She has a wealth of experience in the field of human resources as well as extensive experience in personnel management and projects, primarily in the financial industry. From 1996 to 2016, she held various management positions at UBS Investment Bank and UBS AG in Zurich. She has also led projects in different regions such as the UK and South America.
In 2016, she joined Bühler as Head of Corporate Personnel Development. In this role, she was responsible for defining and implementing the strategy in the areas of global HR development, strategic recruiting, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. She is a member of the local network Business & Professional Women Eastern Switzerland. She has held the position as Chief Human Resources Officer for the Bühler Group since 2020.
