You will learn how to analyze the finished products from your mill and interpret results. So you can advise your head miller and production manager how to improve production consistency and reliability.
But this isn’t just theoretical training. You spend three days in our fully equipped laboratory to learn all the key methods of analysis for flour milling. You will use some of the latest laboratory equipment and see how they work in practice.
Little to moderate laboratory skills. This course is well suited to laboratory personnel.

Carl’s primary area of expertise is flour milling. He trains all levels of milling, including onsite courses. He also conducts mill assessments. Carl completed his milling apprenticeship in 2001. He then spent eight years working in his family flour milling business before completing the Swiss School of Milling in 2009. He joined Bühler in 2011.
The course touches the whole milling process – from laboratory analysis to the finished product and new market trends.
