Bühler India started operations and market penetration 30 years ago with the dispatch of its first machine in 1993. In addition to its headquarters in Bengaluru, they have zonal offices in New Delhi, Pune, and Kolkata. They also have 13 services stations in Bengaluru, Tiruchirapalli, Hyderabad, Pune, Vadodara, New Delhi, Karnal, Ludhiana, Indore, Raipur, Patna, Kolkata, and Lucknow.
Bühler India offers comprehensive solutions for rice milling, flour milling, color sorting, animal feed, processing and production of cocoa, chocolate, coffee and nuts, wafers, confectionery, biscuits, grinding and dispersing, high-vacuum thin-film coating, and die-casting systems. Its Bengaluru premises spans an area of 32,000 square meters. Its 18,000 square meters manufacturing hub is run on renewable energy, which further contributes to reducing the carbon footprint
of the equipment produced there. The site also comprises the headquarters, an Application & Training Center which covers multiple industrial applications, a rice milling academy, an analytical laboratory, and a roll refurbishing station.
It has manufactured more than 100,000 machines over the period of 30 years and been exporting equipment for more than 20 years. More than 600 employees support the needs of our customers based in India, Nepal, Bhutan, and the Maldives.
The new color sorter manufacturing unit at Bühler India houses the latest technologies to manufacture rice optical sorters with an approach of ‘in the region, for the region’, delivering world-class products with the benefits of local manufacturing. Validated by the Bühler SORTEX® experts in the UK, the sorters are manufactured with precision and attention to detail, ensuring the highest standards. Furthermore, the facility uses renewable energy, contributing to the reduction of CO2 emissions in our logistics and supply chain.
