Our high-performance cracking mill OLCB is used for cracking and grinding applications in the oilseed and feed industry. These include processing of soybeans, sunflower seed, rapeseed and corn, as well as size reduction of cereal grains.
You can manually adjust the roller gap during operation to process the ground materials as you need. The mill also has an automatic roller disengagement assembly.
The mill can handle high throughputs thanks to its large rollers and the sturdy construction of its feeder device and product guide sheets.
The raw material is fed evenly over the full length of the high-grade corrugated rollers. This keeps an even stress on the rollers and helps to increase their lifetime.
You can manually adjust the roller gap to fine-tune crushed particle sizes during operation. This compensates for any differences in your raw materials without affecting uptime. The rollers automatically disengage if there is a production stop, maintenance or unplanned power cuts. This helps to prevent the product from getting stuck between the rollers. It also helps to restart production quickly.
Large doors allow fast and easy access to all major machine parts. So you can reach them for maintenance and clean them more quickly between batches.
A rugged steel housing reduces noise and provides a longer service life. The feeder device and the product guide sheets are made of stainless steel. This offers a high level of stability and adds to the durability of the machine.
We have designed protective systems to increase the lifecycle and performance of your equipment. Strong magnets in the feeder device remove ferrous particles to avoid roller damage. If non-ferrous objects do enter your product stream, the rollers are protected by a roller pressing unit with a pre-stressed spring mechanism, which will automatically disengage the rollers.
The large, precision-cut 400 mm diameter rollers in the cracking mill OLCB are designed to avoid premature wear on the corrugations and provide a consistently high product quality. The rollers come in a range of different grades of hardness.
