With the ever increasing demand, both in domestic as well as export markets, Godhawat group setup its new 8 tons per hour medium rice processing facility in the western part of India in the state of Maharashtra.

The new facility is located in the beautiful state of Maharashtra. It has the capability of end to end processing, just like all of Buhler’s offerings. With a capacity of 8 tons per hour, Buhler’s TopLine rice processing plant ensures that the head rice output is nothing short of the best. This has been a major factor in improving the brand presence & penetration of Godhawat group’s rice brands.
Godhawat group’s Star Rice Mill boasts of an end to end paddy to rice processing facility with a capability of processing different varieities of rice. Buhler’s scope includes cleaning & grading, Whitening & Polishing, Optical sorting, Blending & Packing. Optical sorting has been used in rice processing for decades but the technology has moved on. Bühler's SORTEX S UltraVision™ installed at Star Rice Mill is the most technologically advanced, intelligent optical sorter available for rice today. The TopLine installation also is an industry benchmark as far as food safety is concerned.
We are very happy with the overall performance of Buhler’s TopLine rice processing line. We are also in talks about the expansion of our facility for other products such as wheat flour & pasta.
