The SORTEX E1C is an optical sorter for nuts and dried fruit featuring a small footprint and sorting throughputs of up to 6 tons per hour. It detects color defects and foreign materials including glass and plastics.
The Sortex E can be equipped with Sortex BioVision technology, which detects spectral and spatial differences commonly found between nuts and shells. It can also tell the difference between good nut products and foreign matter. It can remove hazardous material as small as 5 mm in size.
The sorter's profile technology detects defects that cannot be differentiated by color, such as sticks from peanuts or under- and oversized almonds. Simply set and define your parameters for acceptable shapes to start removing unwanted shapes and sizes from your nuts.

Additionally, for further sorter optimization, the SORTEX Anyware service feature can also be activated to allow our engineers have remote access and make real-time adjustments.
