Erika Georget

Erika is Head of Bioprocessing for the Bühler Group. Erika graduated in Food Science & Technology from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Agronomie et des Industries Alimentaires in Nancy, France. Having joined the Nestlé Research Center Bioprocessing team in Lausanne, Switzerland, she went on conducting her doctoral research sponsored by Nestlé and obtained a PhD in Food Process Engineering from the Leibniz Universität Hannover, Germany. 

 

Erika joined Bühler in 2015 in London, UK and subsequently in Uzwil, Switzerland where she held roles within R&D, product management and the group sales & services organization. 

 

In her current role, Erika is responsible for Bühler’s Future of Food program and oversees the group activities in the bioprocessing space. With her team, she leads a range of activities, covering 

  • strategy development in relation to new market opportunities in sustainable food & feed 
  • new applications and technology developments with Bühler’s business teams and external partners.
