The Bühler SORTEX E1D optical sorter is designed for use directly after the freezer tunnel in processing lines for frozen vegetables, fruit, and berries. It detects color and shape defects and sorts in throughputs of up to 7 tons per hour.
The open design and stainless-steel frame make it easier to access and clean the hoppers, chutes, optical areas, and product contact surfaces. The doors on the SORTEX E1D are sealed to IP56 rating and the electronics protected for wash-down operations.
The SORTEX E1D has high-resolution cameras with filter options and proprietary detection technologies for maximum food safety. It offers a complete color, shape, and size detection, removing subtle to gross color defects, blemishes, and foreign materials.
The sorter's pre-installed SORTEX ProSortX operating software is designed for ease of use and stores up to 100 sorting modes. This feature along with machine learning will enable you to sort different products with minimal setup and calibration.
The SORTEX E1D is adaptable to include SORTEX PolarVision detection technology, a combination of cameras and detection software that can detect spectral and spatial characteristics between fruit and vegetable produce and foreign materials.
Profile is a shape detection technology that comes pre-installed as a standard. It is used to specify defects that are hard to differentiate by vision, such as stems from long green beans or different pea sizes. This technology feature helps you achieve a homogenous and consistently high quality of the accepted product for better profitability of your business.
